Archon gives back to Mother Nature

AS part of its corporate social responsibility, Archon Special Machineries Inc., last December 3, had its tree planting, with the goal of giving back to the environment.

Around 100 seedlings of Balibago were planted by around 25 employees of Archon in Barangay San Isidro in Bunawan, Davao City.

Despite the scorching heat of the sun and the long walk to the planting site, employees took the time for the activity and interacted with residents near the area.

The activity is part of their #ArchonInAction, which allows company employees to donate their time and resources to worthy causes.

The program is designed to be an extension of the company, with the goal of giving back to the community and making a positive impact in the world.

#ArchonInAction aims to partner with “socially conscious” individuals, groups, or local government units that reflect the company’s core values, mission, and vision.

The company chose tree planting with the aim to help the community in the city.

“Trees highly contribute to a clean environment as they not only improve air quality but can also fight erosion that causes landslides,” Archon said in a message.

Having a healthy environment, they said, would help them attain a sustainable future for the next generations to come. RGL
